Day 53: True Value Tech (7/17)

The other day, my dad called me and said he needed me to create something for their new hardware store, True Value. After working for years at McDonald's my parents thought they needed to start thinking of retirement. If you know anything about my parents dad, you know that change isn't his thing. He's talked about doing similar things but never buckled down to get it done. However, this time they did it!! They bought the hardware store in Stroud. They've learned to manage it and run it daily. They took over this summer, starting June 1st.

On August 1st, they are planning a grand reopening party. Dad wanted some things created to put in the paper. He called me to help. I'm good on computers. It doesn't take me long to figure something out or create needed documents. I would like to take a coding class that's another post! So whenever my parents need some help with technology they call me. I enjoy it! I feel involved. Dad had me create the above postcard for the paper.

I brought the twins and Sami with me to Stroud. They love being at the store. For my fee, I required dinner out. Mom took us to the new Chinese restaurant on Main street. Rallie never left Nana's side.

If your on Facebook and haven't yet, you need to like: Stroud True Value.

Day 6: Nana & PopPop's House (5/31)

Our kids have a special relationship with my parents. They love to FaceTime them and absolutely love going to Nana and PopPop's house. They can literally do whatever they want there and Nana and PopPop are hard pressed to say no. There is always something new and fun to do there. This time PopPop was giving out rides on the lawn mower. Gavin was first, then Rallie and Wes, PopPop thought he was done but 20 minutes later Eisley walked up to PopPop still mowing the yard and stood there and stared at him until he gave her a ride!

Day 113: Saying Happy Birthday (4/23)

Today is Nana's actually birthday and I thought I would send her a text with the babies picture. They did not want to cooperate! Hey, at least Nana has a memorable birthday text...

Day 111: Celebrating Nana's Birthday (4/21)

It's so much fun when we all get together and their are eight (!!) grandkids around. It's so fun to visit and talk with them. Each has their own personality that it's so interesting to see how they react around one another. And to think the three babies aren't even talking yet! It's so crazy when every one is there.

Day 101: Gavin's t-ball Game (4/11)

I love baseball season!! Family, fun and being outside are all of my favorite things. <3>

Day 87: Letters (3/28)

Nana and PopPop are wonderful at sending letters in the mail. So are Aunt Sharman and Uncle Brad, they both never miss a holiday. Gavin loves ripping them open and "reading" them. He really likes opening Rallie's and Wes' for them. I don't think he's going to like it when they are able to do it for themselves!

Day 68: Nana and Rallie (8/9)

Dana, Rye, Cort and Nana came to visit today. We all didn't have anything to do so we thought we would meet up. This is the only picture I took the entire day but it's a good one.

I never noticed how close the names Rye and Rallie are! When they are together it's hard not to get tongue tied. Weird the things I don't notice before until I have called Rallie Rye at least a dozen times in a day. A lot like Garvis and Gavin. :)

We had lots of fun together and did a little shopping. A wonderful way to spend a Saturday.

Day 175: Sunday at Nana & PopPop's (4/15)

Rennie had some things to do in the morning so I decided to head over to my Mom and Dad's for the day. Gavin was PopPop's shadow all day, where ever PopPop was Gavin was close behind. They spent most of the day outside working in the yard. It ended up being a beautiful day.

The last picture is of Gavin after eating a WHOLE ice cream sandwich. Piggy!!

Day 82: Time with Nana and PopPop (1/21)

Gavin and I went to Stroud on Friday night and spend the night with my Mom and Dad. The next day we headed out to Cushing to visit PopPop at work and eat at the Chiense buffet where Aunt Sami showed up.

I always enjoy heading to Stroud and Gavin loves spending time with Nana and PopPop. He thinks he can get whatever he wants from Nana and PopPop and most of the time he does. They spoil him very much and are proud of that fact!

I don't know how many times PopPop has watched the movies Monsters Inc.

Nana made one of the best crock pot dinners and walked with me each day. I love going home...
