Day 129: Catching up on Dallas (5/9)

When we went down to Dallas and visited South Fork, I picked up this book. I wanted to catch up on the previous seasons {the ones that were on year in the 80s} before the "new" Dallas comes back on air. I would not be able to watch that much TV, so this was the next best thing. I am excited to know some of the background infromation to some of the characters on the show.

Rennie talks about them all the time and now I will be bothering him with questions for a while!

Day 128: Book Fair Week (5/8)

LOVE book fair week! It's so fun for the kids and I always walk away with some exta books. Also, during this week I am not so busy and I get to relax on my lunch break and not work through it! I get to catch up on some reading. Whoot- Whoot!! :)

Day 125: Busy Sunday! (5/5)

Aunt Dana, Rye, Cort, Nana and PopPop surprised us by coming to Gavin's game this Sunday. We had lots of fun visiting and Gavin even ran real hard for them!

The twins looked so adorable in their Thunder onesies I had to add a picture of them too.

Day 124: Cubs Tourney (5/4)

We had a t-ball tourney today and Rallie is dressed to impress. She loves going to the field and supporting her big brother. Rallie ADORES Gavin and will probably one of his biggest fans. She follows him around the room and looks for him when he talks.

Rennie and Wes are exhausted after their day at the fields!!

Day 123: Poor Wes (5/3)

We could probably put Wes in a bubble and something would still be wrong with this boy. He has eczema, allergies and lots of diaper rashes. Today, he came up with green gunk in his eyes. We took him to the doctor and she said it wasn't pink eye. She guessed that it had something to do with his allergies. So she set up an appointment with a dermatologist and an allergist. Poor baby, he's been miserable since he has been born. He has learned to scratch himself raw because he itches and must take benadryl twice a day. I hope that we can find some relief for him soon, however he takes it pretty well and is still a happy baby.

UPDATE (5/8): The allergist won't take him until he is two years old! WOW!

Day 122: Still Holding Hands (5/2)

Twin bonding must be amazing. They seem to know where each other are all the time. Most of the time they reach or look for the other. Today, when we were changing their diapers they found each other's hand and held on! AMAZING!

Day 121: Getting Gavin (5/1)

This is a picture of Gavin's daycare. It's off of Douglas and 15th street, I come down Douglas off of I-40 to pick him up most days. You can not enter the parking lot from Douglas and must turn down 15th street. The light at 15th and Douglas TAKES FOREVER and it's so frustrating because IT'S RIGHT THERE! :)

Day 120: Outside Playing (4/30)

The weather had been crappy and cold this spring. Finally a day has come that we can go outside and enjoy the weather. The babies went out in their diapers and enjoyed the sun and wind on their sink. Gavin and I played kick ball. It was so beautiful!!

The last picture is of Gavin eating. My picky eater won't eat much but he will eat a hot dog rapped in baloney. "Mom, it's like a taco!"

Day 118: OKC Memorial Marathon (4/28)

Today was the OKC Memorial Marathon. It has become a family tradition now {if you count the last three years as a tradition!} to all particiapate some how in the marathon.

The last two years, Rennie has ran the half marathon {13.1 miles.} This year he ran the full marathon, 23.2 miles! He did it in under 5 hours! Way to go, baby!!

Aunt Sami, Gavin, the twins and I all walked the 5K. It kinda was a disaster and if I didn't pay for it I probably would of quit half way through. At one point, we were dead last! {That's the picture with the cop behind us!} And then Gavin did not want to get out of the stroller and cried when he did. The twins didn't want to be in the stroller and cried when they were! It was exhausting but totally worth it to see Rennie cross the finish line. Plus this was the first year that it wasn't raining on us, the weather was beautiful!

Day 117: Thrasher's Birthday (4/27)

Today, Thrasher (better known as Cort) turns two today! I can't believe this little handful is already two. It seems like just yesterday I was driving to Enid to sit while Dana had her c-section. I love the antics of Thrasher, he is so much fun to be around. What a great kid!

Day 116: Scootin' Boogie (4/26)

Wes loves to move around by scooting on his back. I think he likes the way it scratches his back. Poor baby. However, he does laugh and get all excited when he moves around the room.

Day 115: Ballfield Nights (4/25)

Love spending my evenings at the ball park. Reminds me of growing up in Lake Worth. The twins are going to love running around when Gavin's playing, Rennie's coaching and I am keeping score. This is how I imgained my life when Gavin was first born. Rennie and I talked about the day he would start playing ball. I love it and I can't say it enough!

PS - Rallie is way into sucking her thumb. I know I should discourage it but I think it's so adorable I can't help it. :)

Day 114: Uncle Garvis' Glasses (4/24)

Gavin came out of Uncle Garvis' room, "Mom, look what I found! Uncle Garvis' sun glasses. They make everything funny!" Oh no, hurry lets put those back before Uncle Garvis finds out!

Day 113: Saying Happy Birthday (4/23)

Today is Nana's actually birthday and I thought I would send her a text with the babies picture. They did not want to cooperate! Hey, at least Nana has a memorable birthday text...

Day 112: Thunder Playoffs (4/22)

I never enjoyed watching NBA until OKC brought the Settle Sonics to Oklahoma. I love watching Thunder basketball. Maybe because I know the plays, honestly maybe because we are good and have had successful years. I enjoy wearing and supporting OKC, I even have some painted TOMS representing. I look forward to the coming playoff games.

Day 111: Celebrating Nana's Birthday (4/21)

It's so much fun when we all get together and their are eight (!!) grandkids around. It's so fun to visit and talk with them. Each has their own personality that it's so interesting to see how they react around one another. And to think the three babies aren't even talking yet! It's so crazy when every one is there.

Day 110: Saturday Softball Tourney (4/20)

I love warm, spring Saturdays at the ball field. We loaded up the bus with food, friends and fun for the day and went out to some crappy little softball tourney like we used to do years ago. We had such a good time. The twins were held all day by everyone and Gavin made a new friend. Lakin is Tabi and Toby's little girl. They were inseparable the entire day. It was so cute to watch them play together. I really love spending time with good friends and being outside. I can not wait until summer gets here.

Day 109: Belly Time (4/19)

My babies like to spend most of their time on their tummy. They are playing with toys and noticing so much of their surroundings. I really enjoy laying on the flor and playing with them every night. I can't believe how fast time if flying. Seems like just yesterday that they were born...

Day 108: Thumb Sucker! (4/18)

...and we have a thumb sucker. It's so dang cute, I can't help but smile every time I see her do it.

Day 107: The Emerald Atlas (4/17)

Great book! If you like Harry Potter, wizards and magic, this book series if for you.

Day 106: It's Last Day (4/16)

Dropped this Tervis the other day and broke it! I am so sad; liquid is getting in between the layers and turning bad. This is the last day for my OSU tumbler. Sad, sad day.

Day 105: Comfy Spot (4/15)

One of Boog's favorite spots: in the sun on the bathroom rug. {Probably because it's away from all the noise in the living room!}

Day 104: Rallie's Excitement (4/14)

This picture is worth a thousand words to me. Rallie follows Gavin around the room and is always searching for him when she can hear his voice. She just loves her big brother!

Day 103: Day at the Fields (4/13)

I told Rennie a few weeks back that I wasn't playing softball this year. I wanted to spend my weekend with the twins and not on the softball fields. However, this weekend I was roped into a tourney over at Boomer Softball Complex. I brought the twins and with the help of Mel, I EHed and sat on the bleachers. The day was wonderful {a little too windy but I'm not complaining} and we spend the day as a family at the ball fields.

Later that night, Rennie and I celebrated our 6th wedding university with dinner and a movie. We watched 42 the story of Jackie Robinson. It was a great night out.

Day 102: Wes Rolls Over! (4/12)

My little fattie finally did it! Wes rolled over. When I expressed my concerns the doctor about Rallie phsyically being ahead of Wes, she looked at Wes and said, "I wouldn't lift my head often if it was that big either!" Oh my sweet baby boy, but he sure is a talker. LOVE!

Day 101: Gavin's t-ball Game (4/11)

I love baseball season!! Family, fun and being outside are all of my favorite things. <3>
