Day 6: Nana & PopPop's House (5/31)

Our kids have a special relationship with my parents. They love to FaceTime them and absolutely love going to Nana and PopPop's house. They can literally do whatever they want there and Nana and PopPop are hard pressed to say no. There is always something new and fun to do there. This time PopPop was giving out rides on the lawn mower. Gavin was first, then Rallie and Wes, PopPop thought he was done but 20 minutes later Eisley walked up to PopPop still mowing the yard and stood there and stared at him until he gave her a ride!

Day 5: Nothing Done Today (5/30)

Some days having four kids under 5 is overwhelming. There are days just getting breakfast on the table, then getting dressed, only to play inside for a bit before it's nap time. It's all exhausting. There are days, where I can do it and go to the zoo by myself, load and unload them multiple times and have so much fun and then there are days like today, where I might not be able to get ready for the day until almost 11. Rennie and his friend Martin are working on our back yard make over (that's a whole other post.) Essentially it's just the kids and me today.

Rallie loves the camera. She will take a picture and then say, "I see." and then giggle and say, "Another." She definitely has some personality and a lot like her dad: stubborn and a know it all. Love her little curls and free spirit. Rallie always watching out for her Wessie and loves her blankies and thumb. Such a sweet girl.

Day 4: Zoo Day! (5/29)

Since we have family pass to the zoo, we try to go often. This way we don't have to walk the whole zoo each time and can just hit little pieces each time. This morning it was overcast and looked like it was going to rain again! (This month we have had more rain in the month than we have had in years combined. Flash Floods and water had done some damage around Oklahoma.)

This time it was just the kids and myself. Rennie is still working at school. They are pretty good about listening and as long as they take turns walking (expect Eisley) it works outs. The weather was perfect and so we headed out for the morning.

Day 3: Sweet Baby Eisley (5/28)

This sweet girl has been the perfect addition to our family and to answer the question A LOT of people ask, "No, we won't be having any more kids!" Eisley is so sweet and certainly the baby of our family and probably gets away with a lot more than any of the other kids ever did. She is brave and thinks she is a year older than she is.

Eisley's motto: If some one else did it or gets one, so do I!

Day 2: Daily Walk (5/27)

I try to get them all outside daily. We play on our bikes or take a walk. We have to wear out that energy in some way. :) Today, we walked our neighborhood. We usually take the same route. Down the main road, by the creek and then around the cul de sac and back to our house. Sometimes if the twins are really energetic, I'll then put Eisley in the stroller and head farther down the road.

Day 1: Summer 2015 (5/26)

This has or was my diary for years of my babies lives. Four to be exact. I went back this week and read and watch Gavin grow up and the birth of my twins, Rallie & Wes through my words and the daily pictures.  As I read, I relived those times in our life and Eisley was no where to be found. My plan was always to write this blog until I didn't want to anymore, then print it off for my children to look back on and see their beginnings. I couldn't finish it and print if off now without adding some of Eisley to my diary. So I thought starting it this summer with day one was as good as any.

There are four babies now and retelling the story of how that happen would take pages and if you know me you've probably heard it more than once. So short version, I am working as a sixth grade math teacher at Mayfield Middle School. Rennie is in his first year as high school and middle school principal at Hinton Public Schools. Gavin went to PreK at Hinton this year, however he will start at Mustang Valley this August. Rallie, Wes, and Eisley stay home with our nanny. That's a quick version of our daily lives. This summer I am staying home with our babies and Rennie works at school during most days. So here goes our first day of summer.
